Reviewing Asus’ Zenfone 9 compact smartphone one month later, including an in-depth camera test, gaming and software update, battery life and more. Is the Zenfone 9 really the best mini phone vs Samsung’s S22, the iPhone 13 Mini and other 2022 handsets? Personally, I reckon so!
That camera tech isn’t quite as capable as the Pixel 6 in more ambient conditions but it’s still great for everyday shots and home movie capture. The Asus Zenfone 9 also boasts fantastic battery life compared with the Galaxy S22 and most compact rivals. And I’m a fan of that near stock Android experience, along with the overall media setup.
Gamers may not naturally take to the Zenfone 9 as it’s so small, but the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset can handle anything you chuck at it. Genshin Impact included. That OLED screen is a stunner and the stereo speakers pump out some decent sounding audio. And yes, you actually have a headphone jack!
